Master of Science Program

The Institute for Health Informatics offers two different Master of Science options: MS Plan A and MS Plan B. Plan A is research-oriented, and is designed primarily for health professionals who are seeking additional training in health informatics. Plan B is course-oriented, and is intended for non-health professionals who wish to be trained in this area but need additional coursework to become fully qualified. Both programs are 42 credits that can be completed in as little as two years at a full-time pace.

The following plans of study list the required courses for the research-oriented MS Plan A and the course-oriented MS Plan B. The MS degree can be completed in two years.
