The MHI program is designed to train professionals who use background in medicine and information technology to solve health care problems.
The curriculum consists of 30 credits of coursework. Students take a block of core courses and add electives.
The MS program is for both health professionals and non-health professionals who are interested in seeking additional training in health informatics.
The curriculum consists of 42 credits. Students take a block of core informatics courses and then finish the degree with a master's thesis or additional coursework.
The PhD program is for those who wish to obtain advanced training and to conduct research. All students take core sequences in health informatics and biostatistics.
Technical and life science electives complete the course requirements.
