Three graduate degrees are offered through the Institute for Health Informatics: the Master of Health Informatics, the Master of Science and the Doctor of Philosophy.
Biomedical Health Informatics (BMHI) is an overarching infrastructure to support the breadth of biomedical informatics initiatives across the University of Minnesota, both within and beyond the colleges of the Academic Health Center.
The Institute for Health Informatics (IHI) was formed to link the growing health informatics-related research, teaching, and outreach functions at the University of Minnesota, optimizing opportunities for coordination, synergy, and collaboration.

We are pleased to announce that Rui Zhang, Health Informatics PhD candidate, has been awarded the prestigious 2012-13 Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship (DDF) from the Graduate School. Rui received 1 of the 137 fellowships that were awarded across the university. Please join us in congratulating Rui for this accomplishment!

The Great Plains Telehealth Resource Center (gpTRAC), the IHI's telehealth grant, has a new website. Click here to see what Zoi Hills, Mary DeVany, Stuart Speedie, and gpTRAC consultants are doing to improve telehealth sevices throughout the Upper Midwest.
